The RTEMS Project is proud to announce the availability of the 5.1 release of RTEMS. It is available from https://ftp.rtems.org/pub/rtems/releases/5/5.1/ which includes formatted documentation, all source code, and generated Doxygen. The core developers are quite proud of this release with many features added or improved. The SMP is now highly optimized and considered to be production worthy. The initialization has been reworked to use linker sets and automatically reduce the code space to a minimum. The source tree has been reorganized in anticipation of a new build system. And much more.
