RTEMS Experience: 1999+
First steps with RTEMS I take with i386ex BSP. My most recent project(hobby) is RTEMS GameBoyAdvanceBsp, just for fun and to learn something about ARM cores.
For the time being I'm working with Freescales mpc8248 and mpc5200 prosessors.
The tools I use with RTEMS GBA SW development are:
- Windows2000 and FedoraCore3
- Cygwin, for GNU gcc tools sets.
- Visual Boy Advance http://vba.ngemu.com/ emulator, good GBA emulator.
- No$gba http://nocash.emubase.de/gba-dev.htm Gameboy Advance Debugger/Emulator, very good debugging aid.
- EZ-Flash Advance USB http://www.gba-toys.com/Default.aspx?tabid=40 , easy to use FlashLinker / programmer.
- MBV2 http://www.devrs.com/gba/files/mbv2faqs.php ( MultiBootVersion 2) multiboot cable/loader
First version of GameBoyAdvanceBsp contains very simple console device (screen output/keypad input)
