Basic cross development integration interests me a lot.For eclipse provides plug-ins development environment and ports easily across multiple operating systems,I tend to choose eclipse's PDE as my developing platform.Thus,Java is surely the chosen programming language.Deviding IDE into many modules and using plug-ins to implement every module may be a nice choice.I would like to develop this IDE referred to Vxworks,although I am not much familiar with VxWorks .IDE development will cost a lot of time,so I tend to implement one or two modules.My interests are kernel integration and file system integration.The question is that how the software's architecture and modules will be designed.When I face such a large and comletely new project,the image in my head is not clear. It will be a great honour for me to participate in your RTEMS project.
