Changing compilation options for BSP building

The full patch was submitted, but some parts were not
accepted into the 4.6.5 release. I will run a diff on our
4.6.5 fork to see if I can find what is missing in the
official 4.6.5. I believe that the CVS is updated
correctly though ...
