RTEMS monitor question

In bash and other shells it is standard to pre-fix the command line with a
'!' exclamation mark. We could use that... You could even use the !xxx to
search the history of commands and start anything that starts with 'xxx'.

Maybe there should be an option to configure it. I find it useful in gdb
so copied it.
