How to get output from dump_malloc() ?

greetings all - 

I'd like to use dump_malloc, but I get no output when I call the function.

Looking through <bsp>/lib/include/rtems/debug.h, there seems to be support for 
enabling/disabling debug stuff.

Is there any documentaion avaialble on this?
