I had applied RTEMS newlib patch
(newlib-1.8.0-rtems-diff-19981027.gz)with no rejections.My execution
of ./bit i386 gave me the following........

BIT: completed libgcc.a rebuild step
BIT: not building other languages

Directory size information:
61001 build-i386-tools
31865 /home/joel/egcs-1.1b-binutils-2.9.1-newlib-1.8.0/i386-rtems
The build-i386-tools subdirectory is now being removed.
The src subdirectory has NOT been removed.

Does it mean that my bit script was successfull??
Exicuted the install_pointcommand as follows....
exportPATH=$PATH:/home/joel/egcs-1.1b-binutils-2.9.1-newlib-1.8.0/i386-rtems/bin
but the bit_rtems gave me the an error.Where did i go wrong???
Please let me know.Thanks in advance
