i386ex GDT_SIZE problem

ello,everyone!I'm building a cross GNAT/RTEMS tools on i386ex board.According to
  i386ex/start/start.s,there are four item in GDT.But in i386ex/include/bsp.h,GDT_
 SIZE is equal to 8192.Generally,there are 8192 entries in GDT in protected mode w
 hile there are four entry in GDT in flat protected mode.I cann't make sure.Is it 
 right?Thanks in advance for any help.
