anyone using Alpha/Linux host?

Anyone have experience good or bad with using an Alpha/Linux host crossing to 
an X86 or PowerPC target?
Any URL's I should know about that might list know issues with the cross 
compiler? I looked on the GCC pages, but the FAQ and bug list don't discuss 
any platform specific bugs.  Judging from some of the comments about SH 
processor support, I doubt that my inability to find the information means 
that there are no platform specific bugs.
